The following pages are from the book Peggy Warren and I did together. She did the illustrations; I did the poetry. It was a lot of work, but oh the fun. We'd argue about this and that, then end up laughing. She'd tell me to change a poem, and I'd tell her to redo a drawing. It took us nearly two years to pull the project together.
